What is pAGG?

Tim Ferriss, in his book The 4 Hour Body, introduced the concept of supplementing his Slow Carb diet with 4 naturally found supplements that when combined together produce an optimal path to optimised fat loss.  These 4 supplements are:

  • P - Policosanol
  • A - Alpha-Lipoic Acid
  • G - Garlic Extract
  • G - Green Tea (Decaffeinated) Flavanols (EGCG)

There are no artificial harmful ingredients or stimulants which are often found in other fat loss supplements such as the ECA stack (Ephedrine Hydrochloride, Caffeine, and Aspirin) and this combination of ingredients has been shown to potentially reduce cholesterol.

Alpha lipoic acid is a potent antioxidant and free radical scavenger. It helps you store the carbs you eat in muscle rather than in fat.

Important: R-ALA is seen scientifically as a much higher quality and higher potency ingredient than standard ALA which is a 50/50 mixture of organic and synthesized ALA substrate.
